"Judge Susan Nelson awarded an injunction that lifted the lockout, which has been in place since March 11.
Lifting the lockout will allow player movement and trades, benefiting the Eagles greatly. They have the best trade asset in the league with their backup quarterback Kevin Kolb.
The Eagles are expected to land a first-round pick for Kolb, who is drawing interest from over 10 teams in the league.
The Eagles could use an extra first-round pick to solidify their major needs.
If Andy Reid targets a player, he could trade Kolb and other picks to move higher in the draft in order to grab players like Patrick Peterson or even Jimmy Smith.
With a trade commodity like Kolb, the Eagles have a lot of options on draft day.
Andy Reid, Howie Roseman and the rest of the front office will have to work fast to get a deal in place, as they will only have a couple of days do to so."
There is a god. For all Eagles fans out there the lift of the NFL lockout couldn't have come any sooner. There have been reports that there are at least 4 teams that are willing to exchange first round picks for the rights to Kolb. Now that the league is back in action the Eagles can now talk to other teams to see what they can get for Kolb. If the lockout would have lasted through the draft all of this would have been impossible. I'm curious to see if the NFL will even sanction such movements. If this all works out as planned the Eagles could line themselves up to have one heck of a draft.
